Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and HardrockData LLC (“HardrockData,” “we,” “us”) for Trainer Hub. Trainer Hub means the website at trainerhub.net, the Trainer Hub apps, trainer sites and apps we host, and the related software (together, the “Service”).

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Have a lawyer read these terms before you rely on them in a dispute.

1. What Trainer Hub is

Trainer Hub is software for personal trainers and their clients. Trainers license the website and the apps. They are not selling coaching through a marketplace, and HardrockData does not take a fee on sessions or packages.

A trainer’s subscription to Trainer Hub is a payment to HardrockData. A client’s payment for a package or session is a payment to that trainer, on the trainer’s own Stripe account. HardrockData is not the merchant for those client charges.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate account information and keep your sign-in method to yourself. Trainers may create client accounts and invite clients. A client uses the Service in connection with their trainer.

You can sign in with email and password, or with Apple, Google, or Facebook when those providers are enabled. Signing in with a provider does not merge an existing password account. If an account already exists for that email, use the method you used when you created it.

3. Trainer subscriptions

Paid Trainer Hub plans are billed by Stripe on the HardrockData account. The price and plan limits shown at checkout are part of this contract. You can cancel future renewals in the billing portal. Canceling does not return money already paid. See the refund policy.

4. Client payments

When a client pays for a package or session, the charge is created on the trainer’s connected Stripe account. The trainer is responsible for that charge, including Stripe processing fees, refunds the trainer chooses to issue, and chargebacks. HardrockData does not refund client charges.

Session credits live in the Service. Canceling inside the trainer’s cutoff may return a credit to the client’s balance. That credit is not a refund of money.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not break the Service, probe it, or access another person’s account.
  • Do not upload anything you do not have the right to use.
  • Do not use the Service for unlawful coaching, harassment, or fraud.
  • Trainers are responsible for the clients, content, and offers on their sites.

6. Fitness is not medical care

Trainer Hub is software. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Training information in the Service comes from the trainer or from tools the trainer uses. Talk to a qualified clinician before you start or change a training program, especially if you are injured or have a medical condition.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the workouts, client records, photos, and other material you put into the Service. You give HardrockData a license to host, display, and process that material so the Service can run for you and, for client records, for the trainer you work with. Client coaching information is handled as described in the privacy policy: the trainer decides what to collect for coaching, and we process it to run the software.

8. Ending the Service

You may delete your account in the Service, or email us and ask us to delete it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, creates risk for other people, or stays unpaid. Provisions that should survive — including payment responsibility, disclaimers, and limits on liability — stay in effect.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, HardrockData is not liable for lost profits, lost data, training outcomes, or indirect damages, and our total liability for a claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid HardrockData for the Trainer Hub subscription in the three months before the claim. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it.

Client charges are between the client and the trainer. Disputes about coaching, scheduling, credits, or a card charge for a package or session go to the trainer.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where HardrockData LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court holds one part unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

11. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. If a change is material, we will also give notice in the Service or by email when we have an address on file. Continuing to use the Service after the update means you accept the new terms.
